Al-Nassr secure the signing of French Defender Simakan from Leipzig

RIYADH: Al-Nassr have successfully signed French defender Mohamed Simakan from RB Leipzig, marking another significant addition to their squad. The Saudi Pro League club announced the transfer on Monday, following confirmation from Leipzig that Simakan had departed with immediate effect after three years with the Bundesliga side.

Although Al-Nassr did not disclose the specifics of the contract length or the transfer fee, reports from German media suggest that the deal is valued at €45 million ($49.82 million).

Simakan, 24, joined RB Leipzig in 2021 on a five-year contract from Strasbourg and made 122 appearances for the German club.
