Al Khor rope in medio Sayyar

Qatar Stars League (QSL) club Al Khor signed midfielder Mohammed Sayyar from relegated Al Shahaniya on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old was presented to the media at a Press conference at the club premises last Monday in the presence of president Hassan Juma Al Mohannadi and player Naif Al Buraiki.

Sayyar, an ASPIRE Academy graduate, was a regular starter last season with Shahaniya, who finished 12th and were relegated after losing the play-off to Qatar Sports Club.

Khor, who came in 11th in the QSL, had signed Frenchman Laurent Banide as coach after his compatriot Jean Fernandez left for rivals Al Gharafa. DSP
