Al Gharafa part ways with Vladimir Weiss

Doha, Qatar: Qatar Stars League side Al Gharafa have parted ways with midfielder Vladimir Weiss by mutual agreement.

Weiss, who had a successful career with Al Duhail, joined Al Gharafa in 2016. However, the Slovakian didn't live up to the expectations at Al Gharafa and was struggling with injuries.

Al Gharafa are third in the QNB Stars League with 20 points from 11 matches, including six victories and two draws.

Al Gharafa, who won the league in 2008, 2009, and 2010, are trying hard to return to glory days.
