Al Duhail SC thrash Al Khor

Doha: Al Duhail SC continued to mercilessly thrash their opponents and the latest to suffer at their hands were Al Khor who were hit for four goals in the QNB Stars League on Saturday.
Ismael Mohammed, Youssef El Arabi, Youssef Msakni and Murad Naji scored for Duhail, who now have hit 68 goals in 18 matches. Duhail lead the table with 48 points while second-placed Al Sadd, who take on Al Ahli on Sunday, are on 43.
Duhail took the lead in the 24th minute through Ismael Mohammed who controlled Karim Boudiaf’s inch-perfect ball into the box with his first touch and slotted it home with his second.
Five minutes later Duhail doubled their lead after Youssef Msakni’s trickery proved too much for Al Khor’s Ahmed Yousef, who ended up fouling the Duhail captain inside the box for a penalty.
Youssef El Arabi emphatically buried the penalty for his 22nd goal of the season.
Five minutes later it was 3-0 as Msakni found himself at the end of another beautiful pass, this time from Lucas Mendes, and the Tunisian forward casually slotted the ball home to take his tally to 19. The Duhail captain is enjoying a rich goal-scoring form, having hit eight in his last four QSL matches.
Duhail continued with their domination in the second half and Murad Naji made it 4-0 in the 52nd minute with a powerful grounder from outside the box.
Djamel Belmadi's men seemed happy with their returns for the day and played well within themselves for the rest of the half.
Khor had chances to score a consolation goal but poor finishing by their forwards ensured they returned home empty-handed. To add to the misery, their defender Luciano Silva was shown a red card for dissent in the dying moments of the game.
