Al Arabi Prepare for Tough Test Against Al Shamal

DOHA: Al Arabi head coach Pablo Amo addressed the media ahead of their Week 4 clash with Al Shamal in the 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League, stressing the importance of preparation following the international break.

“Returning after the break was an important milestone that we took advantage of to prepare the team technically and mentally. We analyzed our performance, corrected gaps, and rearranged the squad to maintain our identity,” Amo said. “We are facing a strong team like Al Shamal, which has great competitive spirit. The match will not be easy, but we enter it with focus and the desire to improve with every round.”

Forward Javier Hernandez echoed his coach’s confidence, highlighting the team’s unity and ambition. “I found great support from my teammates to adapt quickly, and I see a lot of enthusiasm that will help us go far. The international break allowed some players to rest while others gained valuable international experience. Now, all eyes are on the league, and the Al Shamal match is a true test for us to start strongly.”

Al Arabi will be aiming to translate their renewed energy into points as they look to climb the Stars League standings.
