DOHA: World No. 1 Padel duo Arturo Coello of Spain and Agustin Tapia of Argentina expressed their immense joy after successfully defending their title at the Ooredoo Qatar Major Premier Padel, securing the men’s crown for the second consecutive year.

Speaking at the post-match press conference on Saturday, Coello called the victory a major personal milestone, emphasizing the difficulty of the tournament and the intensity of the final. He praised the tournament’s exceptional organization and warm hospitality, adding that such treatment deeply motivates players to deliver their best.

“The final was particularly tough against a strong pair, and it demanded absolute focus. Winning this means we gave 100 percent,” Coello said.

Tapia echoed his partner’s sentiments, expressing heartfelt joy at the win. He highlighted the world-class standards of the event, citing the fan support, court quality, and overall organization as among the best on tour.

“Playing in Qatar feels ideal. It’s an environment that brings out the best in a player,” Tapia concluded.
