Aspire Hosts Family Fun Run, Gharafa Clinch Women’s 3×3 Title at Ramadan Sports Festival

DOHA: The Aspire Zone Foundation, in partnership with the Qatar Sports for All Federation, staged a Family Fun Run at Aspire Park as part of the 12th Ramadan Sports Festival 2026.Held from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., the free event featured 1km and 3km races and drew broad community participation through registration on the QSFA app.

In the men’s over-18 3km race, Zakaria Graham took first place ahead of Faisal Yousef and Naif Al-Shammari. Agiol Khabibolina won the women’s over-18 3km event, with Ransi Iaga second and Zain Osman third. In the boys’ over-13 race, Arjan Rakesh finished first, followed by Youssef Jamal and Nasser Al Khaja.

Festival organisers said the event highlighted the importance of physical activity during the holy month. Beach volleyball competitions begin on Thursday at the Aspire Zone Academy sand courts and run until Feb. 28.

Meanwhile, Al Gharafa 1 claimed the women’s 3×3 basketball title after beating Al Muhariboun 21-12 in the final at the Women’s Sports Hall. Iman Jalali of Al Gharafa was named the tournament’s best player.
