
10th Alkass International Cup kicks off at Aspire Zone
Doha, Qatar: The 10th edition of the Alkass International Cup commenced on Thursday at the Aspire Zone football ground, featuring an exciting opening match between hosts Aspire Academy and Morocco’s Mohammed VI Football Academy.
Prior to kickoff, both teams were introduced to German World Cup winner Julian Draxler, who currently plays for Al Ahli in the Qatar Stars League, along with Essa Al Hitmi, General Manager of AlKass Sports Channel.
The prestigious youth tournament aims to develop Qatari junior footballers by providing them with the opportunity to compete against top international teams.
This year’s lineup includes renowned clubs such as Kashiwa Reysol (Japan), Paris Saint-Germain (France), Al Ahly FC (Egypt), Rangers FC (Scotland), and Seattle Sounders FC (USA), promising a high level of competition.
