Al Sadd ready to host Umm Salal in round 4 of Ooredoo Stars League

DOHA: Defending champions Al Sadd are eagerly preparing to face Umm Salal in the fourth round of the Ooredoo Stars League at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Friday at 8 PM. Al Sadd, currently third in the league standings with 6 points, will aim to continue their momentum after victories over Qatar SC and Al Arabi, despite an opening-round loss to Al Shamal.

Umm Salal, on the other hand, face a daunting challenge against their formidable opponents. They are seventh in the standings with 3 points, secured from a win over Al Shamal in the second week. However, they have suffered two defeats, against Al Rayyan and Al Duhail.

Al Sadd coach Felix Sanchez emphasized the importance of focus ahead of the match, acknowledging the difficulty of facing Umm Salal, who have proven to be tough competitors in their previous games. With several players returning from national duty, Sanchez highlighted the need to assess the squad’s readiness for the upcoming clash.
