Younousse-Tijan duo win beach volleyball gold

HANGZHOU: Team Qatar’s duo of Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan claimed the country’s first gold at the 19th Asian Games after defeating China 2-0 in the beach volleyball event.

The Qatari duo is the reigning Olympic bronze medallist and are considered to be one of the strongest in the world.

Meanwhile, Indian shooters added yet another medal to the cabinet as they clinched gold in men’s 10m Air Pistol team event.
