Longines Hathab – Qatar Equestrian Tour Gears Up for Ninth Round at Al Shaqab
DOHA:The ninth round of the Longines Qatar Equestrian Tour Hathab, organized by the Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, will commence today.
The competitions will feature showjumping and dressage events at the Longines indoor and outdoor arenas at Al Shaqab.
The ninth round will begin at 8 PM with the Future Riders competitions for levels one and two.
Level one will feature jumps at a height of 60 cm for ages 6 to 12, followed by level two with jumps at 80 cm for ages 12 to 16. The Small Tour competition with jumps at 115 cm will take place at 11 PM.
On Friday, the competitions will continue with the Amateur class at a height of 100 cm, followed by the Medium Tour for individuals and teams at a height of 135 cm. The round will conclude on Saturday with dressage competitions, followed by the Open Class at a height of 125 cm, and the Big Tour at a height of 150 cm.
Currently, Cyrine Cherif leads the Big Tour standings with 208 points, while Mohammed Faisal Al Marri tops the Amateur class with 205 points.
Abdullah Hassan Al Emadi leads the Small Tour with 185 points, Hamad Tuwaim Al Marri leads the Open Class with 193 points, Nasser Hamad Al Thani leads the Future Riders level one with 216 points, and Hassan Ali Al Marhoon leads the Future Riders level two with 214 points.
