Qatari judokas win gold medals at Arab Championship

Amman (Jordan): Team Qatar judokas clinched two gold medals at the

Arab Judo Championship 2019.

The Qatari duo of Waleed Aziz Hanafi and Nasser Al Ansi won the gold medals in the Nage-no-Kata class while their team-mate Saleha al Badi went on to win gold in the women’s under 52kg.

The championship has brought together 14 Arab nations: Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and hosts Jordan.
