Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club announces new partnership with Al Hazm until 2027

DOHA: Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) on Wednesday announced a new partnership with Al Hazm.

Al Hazm will sponsor the feature race — HH The Amir Sword race (Gr1 PA) — for Purebred Arabians on the final day of HH The Amir Sword Festival Festival at QREC Al Rayyan Racecourse.

Al Hazm will also sponsor the Qatar Arabian World Cup race (Gr1 Pa), which is run in Paris every year. The sponsorship of the H.H. The Amir Sword race and the Qatar Arabian World Cup race will run for five years until 2027.

This sponsorship is an extension of the partnership, which has existed between QREC and Al Hazm for 13 years.

“The partnership between QREC and Al Hazm has been existing over the years and has been extended until 2027. It will not be limited to sponsoring the H.H. The Amir Sword race, but will also involve the Qatar Arabian World Cup race, which is held in Paris every year as part of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe weekend. I would like to thank Mohammed Abdul Karim Al Emadi, CEO of Al Emadi Real Estate Enterprises Company and Al Hazm for their continued and growing cooperation with QREC,” said QREEC Chairman Issa bin Mohammed Al Mohannadi.

QREC was established in the early 1960s and was officially made public in 1975.

QREC is mandated with representing, promoting and advancing equine and equestrian initiatives from grassroots programmes to the international arena.

Speaking on this tie-up, Al Emadi said: “Sponsoring QREC’s activities represents a message of gratitude to the HH the Amir for the sports achievements in Qatar and it is not new to Al Emadi Real Estate Enterprises Company and Al Hazm. In addition to continuing our role as the sponsor of HH The Amir Sword race, we will also sponsor the prestigious Qatar Arabian World Cup in Paris for five years for a total of QAR 17.5 million.”
