India secure final berth with dominant 4-1 win over South Korea in Asian Champions Trophy 2024

HULUNBUIR,China: India put on a stunning display to defeat Korea Republic 4-1 in the semi-final of the Asian Champions Trophy 2024, securing their place in the final against China. Captain Harmanpreet Singh led from the front, converting two crucial penalty corners to bring his goal tally in the tournament to seven.
Uttam Singh opened the scoring for India, giving them an early advantage, while Jarmanpreet Singh added a third to extend their lead. Though Korea managed to pull one back in the third quarter, much like their previous encounter in the league phase, it proved to be only a consolation as India held firm.
With this commanding victory, India is now set to face China in the final, where they will look to continue their strong form and lift the trophy.
