Wakrah beat Khor to continue winning run

Doha: Al Wakrah thrashed Al Khor 32-21 to continue their winning run at the Qatar League handball on Monday.

Wakrah, who led 18-11 at half-time lead the table with 15 points and a goal difference of 33.

Though Al Duhail, who defeat Al Gharafa 26-24 in a battle of heavyweights, also have 15 points their goal difference of 14 pushed them to second in the table.

In the other matches in the fifth round, Al Sadd and Al Rayyan played out a 21-21 draw, Al Ahli beat Shamal 28-22, and Al Arabi got the better of Qatar SC 34-30.

Gharafa, with 13 points, are third in the table while Al Rayyan are fourth with 12.
