Qatar in Group B of Asian Junior Handball Championship

DOHA: Qatar has been placed in Group B of Ninth Asian Junior Handball Championship following the draw ceremony held in Kuwait on Wednesday.

Japan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iraq and Kuwait are other teams in the group.

Group A consists of hosts Bahrain, Iran, India, South Korea and Uzbekistan.

The tournament will be held from 16 to 27 August.

Qatar won the Asian title in 2010 and 2012 respectively.
