Duhail beat Ahli to enter Asian Championship final

Doha: Al Duhail SC qualified for the final of the Asian Handball Championship after beating another Qatari side Al Ahli 31-26 in the semifinal on Tuesday.

Duhail, who progressed to the semifinal as Group A leaders after finishing their engagements unbeaten, were too hot to handle for compatriots Ahli, who booked their berth in the last for as Group B runners-up.

Duhail will now take on the winners of the second semifinal between Bahrain’s Al Najma Club Sharjah Club of the United Arab Emirates.
