
DOHA: Al-Duhail secured a hard-fought 27–26 victory over Al-Arabi in Round 13 of the 2024–2025 Men’s Handball League season today. The win lifts Al-Duhail to 33 points, placing them third in the standings, while Al-Arabi, who suffered their first defeat of the season, remain in second place with 34 points.
In another match, Al-Khor and Al-Wakrah played out a dramatic 29–29 draw. Al-Khor now sit in eighth place with 18 points, while Al-Wakrah hold 17 points in tenth.
Round 13 kicked off yesterday with three matches: Al-Rayyan defeated Al-Gharafa 25–20 to maintain their top spot, Al-Sadd dominated Qatar 32–19, and Al-Ahli edged past Al-Shamal 22–18.
With these results, Al-Rayyan continue to lead the league with 37 points, followed by Al-Arabi (34), Al-Duhail (33), Al-Ahli (28), Al-Sadd (27), Al-Gharafa (25), Al-Shamal (19), Al-Khor (18), Qatar (18), and Al-Wakrah (17).(QNA)
