The Qatar Gymnastics Federation (QGF) will host the tournament.
Ali Al Hitmi, President of the Qatar Gymnastics Federation and First Vice-President of the International Gymnastics Federation, said that the championship is being held with the aim of spreading the culture of gymnastics at local as well as Arab level. In future, European and continental clubs will also be invited to participate.
Abeer Al Buainain, Secretary-General of QGF, and Tournament Director, confirmed that the organising committee is working hard to make the new version of clubs gymnastics championship a big success.
“We consider hosting such tournaments as an opportunity to exchange experiences between gymnasts of countries participating in the tournament. There is no doubt that we have many gains at various levels from organising such tournaments, hence we were also keen on participating delegations to watch it.
“We aim to host a distinctive event in keeping Qatar’s organisational abilities and everyone will enjoy the technical level of the participants. We wish everyone all success in the first edition of the championship,” said Al Buainain.
