KUWAIT CITY: The stage is set for the semi-finals of the Arabian Gulf Cup in Kuwait, with the final scheduled for Saturday, January 4. The tournament, which has captured the hearts of fans, has seen tens of thousands flock to the Jaber Al Ahmad and Jaber Al Mubarak International Stadiums to witness thrilling action from the 12 group-stage games.
Host nation Kuwait, the most successful team in the tournament’s history with 10 titles, has remained unbeaten in Group A with a win and two draws. They will face Bahrain, who secured six points with two victories in Group B. Their much-anticipated clash will take place at the 57,000-capacity Jaber Al Ahmad International Stadium on Tuesday night.
