Qatar Padel Open Tournament kicks off today

DOHA: The first edition of 2025 Qatar Padel Open Tournament will kick off today at the Khalifa International Complex.

The tournament will run for seven days, with more than 150 players participating.

The championship features four categories: (A), (B), (C), and (D), aiming to provide opportunities for players of all skill levels to compete.

Several Qatari players, including Mohamed Saadon, Sultan Khalfan, Khalid Saadon, Hassan Wali, and Rashid Nawaf, will participate in the event.

Chairperson of National Teams Committee and Board Member of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel, and Badminton Federation, Khalid Al Khelaifi, emphasized the importance of this local tournament in developing Qatari players and preparing them for upcoming competitions, especially at the international level.
