QADC holds workshop for sport federations and clubs

Doha: The Qatar Anti-Doping Commission (QADC) organised a one-day workshop on “fight against doping” for sport federations and clubs representatives here on Sunday.

The workshop brought together 45 participants representing federations and clubs.

“The QADC is responsible to setting up regulations, spread culture, awareness and control doping through conducting tests in and outside competitions,” said QADC Director Dr Fatima Khamees Al Malki.

The QADC, established in March, 2005, is an independent organisation responsible to develop anti-doping efforts according to international standards.

Al Malki also appreciated the commission’s effort in developing anti-doping researches and fostering co-operation with the regional and international bodies.
