2nd Katara International Arabian Horse Festival starts today

DOHA: The second edition of Katara International Arabian Horse Festival started on Wednesday.
The competition is being held under the generous patronage of His Highness Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The festival, which is organized in cooperation with the Qatar Equestrian Federation, Racing and Equestrian Club and Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, will be held on Katara Beach.
The festival will continue until February 12 with the participation of 11 countries, with prizes amounting to QR 17,083,500.
Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival and Director General of the Cultural Village Foundation Katara inaugurated the activities accompanying the festival, in the presence of a number of top dignitaries and guests.
