UAE-Qatar Super Cup: Qatar SC lose 5-1 to Al-Nasr

Qatar SC suffered a heavy defeat against their hosts, Al-Nasr of UAE, losing 5-1 in the UAE-Qatar Super Cup match held this evening at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai.
Al-Nasr ended the first half with a 2-0 lead, thanks to goals from Ali Mabkhout in the 13th minute and Manolo Gabbiadini in the third minute of stoppage time (45+3). Qatar SC displayed a lackluster performance in both defense and attack during the first half.
Qatar SC showed a slight improvement in the second half, launching several attacking attempts in an effort to reduce the deficit. However, they completely collapsed in the final 15 minutes, conceding three more goals.
Al-Nasr extended their lead with a third goal in the 71st minute through Ali Mabkhout, who secured his second goal of the match.
Qatar SC managed to find the net in the 74th minute through their Congolese striker Ben Malango. However, the Emirati side quickly responded with a fourth goal from Abdoulaye Touré in the 81st minute and a fifth from Ahmed Jashak via a penalty in the 88th minute.
