Stage set for Amir Cup final, organisers announce match details

The stage is set for the 49th edition of H.H. the Amir Cup final, which will be played on Friday between Al-Sadd and Al-Rayyan at the new Al Thumama World Cup Stadium.

The organisers of the showpiece game, the Qatar Football Association and the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, are laying the final touches and on Wednesday announced the match details, including the list of referees and the kits to be worn by the two sides.

Abdullah Al-Athba will be the main referee for the Amir Cup final, and he will be assisted by linesmen Ramzan Al Nuaimi and Yousuf Aref. Mohammed Ahmed Al Shammari has been appointed as the fourth official, while Meshari Al Shammari and Khaled Al Nabit will be the video assistant referees (VAR), alongside Khaled Ayed as additional VAR.

Meanwhile, the match coordination meeting for the Amir Cup final was held on Wednesday, with the officials confirming the kits to be worn by the two teams in the game. Both sides will wear their home kits, with Al-Sadd playing in white and Al-Rayyan in red.
