Spain secure perfect start to Euro 2024 with win over Albania
DUESSELDORF, Germany: Spain continued their perfect start to Euro 2024 with a comfortable 1-0 victory over a spirited, but now eliminated, Albania on Monday. A superb Ferran Torres strike early in the game was enough to make it three straight wins for La Roja at the tournament.
Spain dominated play from the outset, with Torres, Mikel Merino, and Joselu all coming close to extending their lead. Despite Spain’s control, Albania showed determination throughout, fighting desperately for a goal.
