QFA briefs clubs on latest FIFA rule changes

DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) Refereeing Department held a coordination meeting with clubs via videoconference to raise awareness of the latest amendments to the Laws of the Game issued by FIFA.
During the session, technical expert Valentin Ivanov delivered a detailed presentation explaining the new rule changes, their practical implementation, and their expected impact on match flow.
Abdullah Al Bulushi, Head of Youth Categories in the Refereeing Department, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in aligning understanding among technical and administrative staff across clubs. He noted that these efforts help reduce refereeing errors and promote fair play.
The meeting forms part of an ongoing series of workshops organized by the QFA to ensure clubs stay updated with international developments and to enhance the consistent application of football laws across competitions.
