Qatar Football Association extends suspension of all sports activities

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has extended the suspension of all sports activities and the matches that it organises until April 14, based on the circular issued by the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).

This decision is part of the efforts and measures taken by the State to curb the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19), in the interest of the safety of technical and administrative bodies, players and fans in stadiums hosting matches.

The QFA had earlier postponed all its activities until March 29, but now it increasingly looks like the league and the Cup tournaments will only be completed right before the start of the next season.
