PSG start Ligue 1 campaign with convincing 4-1 Victory

LE HAVRE, France: Paris St Germain kicked off their Ligue 1 season with a commanding 4-1 win over Le Havre on Friday, taking advantage of a late defensive collapse by the hosts. The match began in emphatic fashion for PSG as Gonçalo Ramos set up Lee Kang-in for the opening goal within just three minutes. However, PSG’s early jubilation was tempered when Ramos suffered an injury, forcing him to be replaced by Randal Kolo Muani.
Le Havre mounted a challenge in the second half, with Gautier Lloris scoring an equalizer shortly after the break. Although Josue Casimir thought he had given Le Havre the lead, his goal was ruled out by VAR due to a handball in the buildup.
PSG found their rhythm late in the game, with Ousmane Dembélé heading in a crucial goal five minutes from time. Bradley Barcola quickly followed with another, and Kolo Muani sealed the victory from the penalty spot, leaving Le Havre with no response.
PSG coach Luis Enrique praised his team’s resilience but expressed concern over Ramos’ injury, describing it as a serious blow to their campaign.
