Napoli extend Serie A lead with 3-1 win over Como

NAPLES, Italy: Scott McTominay made an instant impact, scoring after just 25 seconds as Napoli defeated Como 3-1 in a Serie A clash on Friday. McTominay’s early goal came from a precise pass by Romelu Lukaku, who teed him up inside the box. The Scottish midfielder fired his shot off the post to give Napoli a dream start.

Lukaku and David Neres also found the back of the net, securing a comfortable win for Napoli. The result extended their lead at the top of the Serie A table to 16 points after seven matches, four points clear of Juventus, who will face Cagliari on Sunday.

Napoli continue to impress under Antonio Conte, maintaining their form as title favorites.
