Lewandowski sidelined with hamstring injury, set to miss Copa del Rey final and Champions League semi-final

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury and is expected to miss several key fixtures, including the Copa del Rey final and both legs of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, according to reports in Spain.
The 36-year-old was substituted during Barcelona’s 4-3 La Liga win over Celta Vigo on Saturday and underwent tests on Sunday. “Tests carried out on Sunday have confirmed that first-team player Robert Lewandowski has a semitendinosus injury in his left thigh,” Barcelona confirmed in a statement, though no official recovery timeline was provided.
Spanish media outlets suggest the Polish forward will be sidelined for around three weeks. That would rule him out of Saturday’s Copa del Rey final against arch-rivals Real Madrid in Seville, as well as the Champions League semi-final ties against Inter Milan on April 30 and May 6.
Lewandowski, Barcelona’s top scorer this season with 40 goals across all competitions, could also miss La Liga matches against Mallorca and Valladolid, with a potential return in the high-stakes clash against Real Madrid on May 11—a fixture that could prove decisive in the title race.
