Juventus continue perfect start with 3-0 victory over Hellas Verona

VERONA, Italy: Juventus maintained their flawless start to the Serie A season under new manager Thiago Motta, cruising to a 3-0 win against Hellas Verona on Monday. A brace from Dusan Vlahovic and a goal by defender Nicolo Savona propelled the Turin giants to the top of the league standings with six points from their opening two matches.

Following a 3-0 triumph over newly-promoted Como in their season opener, Juventus remain the only team in Serie A to have secured maximum points. The victory at Verona also marked a significant milestone, ending an eight-match winless streak away from home in the league.

Vlahovic opened the scoring in the 28th minute, netting his first Serie A goal since April. The Serbian forward capitalized on a low pass from Kenan Yildiz, slotting the ball past Verona goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipo. Defender Nicolo Savona extended Juve’s lead before halftime with a precise header inside the far post, ensuring the visitors took a commanding position.
