Gulf Club Champions League: Al Arabi loses to Kuwait’s Al Qadsia in fifth round

Kuwait, February 05 (QNA) – Al Arabi faced a 0-3 defeat against their host, Kuwait’s Al Qadsia on Wednesday at the Mohammed Al Hamad Stadium in Kuwait City in the fifth round of Group B in the AGCFF Gulf Club Champions League.

Goals for Al Qadsia were scored by Moroccan player Mehdi Benrahma and Jassim Al Matar in the 28th and 39th minutes, with Bader Al Mutawa adding a penalty in the 97th minute.

With this fourth loss, Al Arabi lost their chance to compete for the semi-finals, their points remaining at one. Meanwhile, Al Qadsia increased their tally to 8 points, securing second place in the group. (QNA)
