DOHA: Umm Salal coach Patrice Carteron and Al Rayyan coach Artur Jorge shared their thoughts with the media ahead of their highly anticipated Doha Bank Stars League Week 10 encounter, set to take place on Saturday.
Carteron stressed the importance of a calm, pressure-free approach for his players. “I do not want my players to enter the match under any pressure. We have to give our best, but without burdening ourselves with extra pressure because of what happened previously,” he said. He added that Umm Salal would enter the game “with a spirit of challenge and determination,” confident that the team can deliver a strong performance if it maintains focus and unity.

This match will be crucial for maintaining our momentum to secure three points and compete for the top spot in the league standings, a position Al Rayyan deserve,” he said.
Jorge acknowledged that breaks in the season have impacted consistency but insisted the team remains focused. “We just need to focus on ourselves, maintain our current level and deliver our best performance.
