FIFA reveals U-17 World Cup schedule

Zurich: FIFA officially unveiled Monday the match schedule for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026, with the tournament set to take place from Nov. 19 to Dec. 13 and feature 48 national teams.

Qatar will host the competition for the second consecutive year following the success of the inaugural expanded edition, which attracted large crowds and provided a global platform for some of football’s most promising young talents.

This year’s tournament is expected to feature several high-profile group-stage encounters following the draw held last month at FIFA headquarters in Zurich.

One of the standout fixtures will see hosts Qatar face Egypt in Group A on Nov. 22 in a highly anticipated Arab clash.
