Doha Bank Stars League: Al-Sailiya defeats Al-Shahania to record second win

Al-Sailiya achieved a crucial 1-0 win against Al-Shahania in a match held this evening at Al-Khor Stadium, as part of the eighth round of the Doha Bank Stars League for the 2025-2026 season.

The “Falcons” owe their second league win to Diego Amaro, who scored the only goal of the match in the 35th minute.

With this victory, Al-Sailiya raised their tally to 6 points, climbing from the 12th and last position to 9th place, surpassing Umm Salal (10th) and Al-Ahli (11th) on goal difference.

On the other hand, the loss kept Al-Shahania at 4 points, causing them to drop from 11th to 12th place.
