Dembele delivers in style to send PSG into Club World Cup final

NEW JERSEY: Paris St Germain manager Luis Enrique will be counting on a fully fit Ousmane Dembele for Sunday’s Club World Cup final against Chelsea, after the French winger delivered a dazzling performance in a 4-0 demolition of Real Madrid in the semi-final.
Returning to the starting lineup for the first time in the tournament after recovering from a thigh injury, Dembele wasted no time making an impact at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. He assisted Fabian Ruiz’s opener in the sixth minute and followed it up with a brilliant goal of his own just three minutes later.
Luis Enrique, who has publicly backed Dembele as a Ballon d’Or contender, hailed the 27-year-old as PSG’s “best player” and emphasized how his presence elevates the team. “This is the first game I had Dembele at his best,” the coach said. “He’s a unique player, and hopefully we’ll have him for the final.”
Victory on Sunday would cap a historic season for PSG under Enrique, who has already guided the club to a continental treble — including a 5-0 thrashing of AC Milan in the Champions League final.
