Chelsea’s European set complete as fans celebrate Conference League glory

WROCLAW, Poland: Chelsea fans raised their voices in celebration on Wednesday night after the club’s 4-1 win over Real Betis in the UEFA Conference League final in Wroclaw. While opinions varied on the significance of the trophy, there was unanimous agreement among supporters on one point — the future looks bright for the Blues.

After conceding an early goal, Chelsea quickly regrouped and dominated proceedings, eventually sealing a convincing win. The triumph marks a historic milestone for the London side, who have now become the first English club to win all four major European trophies — the Champions League, Europa League, Cup Winners’ Cup, and the Conference League. They’ve also added two UEFA Super Cups to their continental haul.

“A trophy always feels good,” said Martin, a lifelong Chelsea supporter celebrating in Wroclaw’s old town. Another fan, James, echoed the sentiment: “Of course it is a real trophy. We haven’t had the best season, but we completed the set, we won everything in Europe there is to win.”

With a young squad and silverware in hand, Chelsea fans now look ahead with optimism to what could be a new era of success at Stamford Bridge.
