Asian Cup 2023 mascot set to be unveiled

Doha, November 30 (QNA) – The launch ceremony of the official mascot of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 will take place on Friday. Qatar will host the event from Jan. 12 to Feb. 10, 2024, with the participation of 24 teams.
The ceremony will be held tomorrow at 6:30 pm in Barahat Msheireb in the presence of officials from the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the tournament and personalities. Fans are also invited to learn about the mascot of the 18th edition of the tournament and to participate in the ceremony that is held in conjunction with the beginning of the countdown to the major Asian event.
The mascots will form an integral part of the tournament experience, creating a wonderful connection between fans and the competition.
Defending champion Qatar, who are making their 11th appearance, will play the opening match on Jan. 12 against Lebanon in Group A, which also includes China and Tajikistan. (QNA)
