DOHA – Al-Kharaitiyat came from behind to beat Al-Khor 3-1 on Saturday in the second round of the JETOUR League at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
Al-Khor, looking to respond after a heavy defeat by Al-Markhiya in their opening match, made a strong start and took the lead in the eighth minute.
Mohammed Dabo capitalised on hesitation from the Al-Kharaitiyat defence to collect the loose ball, set himself up and calmly sent his shot past the goalkeeper and into the bottom corner.
Al-Kharaitiyat responded after the break and quickly turned the match around, with Serbian forward Krstic heading home the equaliser in the early stages of the second half.
The comeback continued as Al-Kharaitiyat scored a second goal before completing the turnaround from the penalty spot to secure a 3-1 victory.
The result gave Al-Kharaitiyat their first win of the season after they began their campaign with a defeat, while Al-Khor suffered a second consecutive loss.
Al-Kharaitiyat will look to build on the victory in their next league fixture, while Al-Khor will aim to recover from their difficult start to the 2026-27 season.
