DOHA: Al Duhail secured their first victory of the 2025-2026 QSL Cup with a 2-1 win over Mesaimeer in Round 2 at the Al Shamal Stadium on Monday, September 22.
Mesaimeer took the lead in the 23rd minute through Youssef Dhaflaoui, but Al Duhail responded instantly, equalizing a minute later with a strike from Tahsin Mohammed. The decisive goal came in the 69th minute when Hamada Misbah Ghazy found the net to seal all three points. The result lifted Al Duhail to four points after their opening-round draw with Al Ahli, while Mesaimeer remain on one point.
In the day’s other match, Al Arabi and Al Waab shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Al Khor Stadium. Ahmed Moeen opened the scoring for Al Arabi before Baha Faisal equalized for Al Waab. The outcome pushed Al Arabi to four points, having beaten Al Wakrah 3-1 in their first game, while Al Waab now have two points from two draws.
