Aspire Zone Foundation announces second summer camp for children
Doha, Qatar: Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) announced the opening of its second summer camp for kids — featuring a wide variety of sports, arts and cultural activities — from July 7 to 31.
Boys and girls aged between 6 and 13 years can attend four days a week from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The camp will be held at the Aspire Dome, Ladies Sports Hall and Aspire Park.
The camp’s programmes include a variety of activities such as football, volleyball, athletics, taekwondo, gymnastics, aerobics and recreational games. Moreover, children will have a chance to take part in field trips to a number of distinctive destinations in Doha, as well as attend courses in planting, reading, arts and crafts.
The first edition of the summer camp attracted more than 200 children and was a hit among parents, whose feedback was instrumental in bringing back the camp for the 2019 summer edition.
The summer camp is organised in partnership with the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara, Kidzania Qatar National Museum, the Cage Sport, Planet Medical Center and the STEM Xplorers.
