Saeed Haidan secures second straight Al Shaqab CSI1 title

DOHA: Hussain Saeed Haidan delivered a stellar performance to clinch his second successive Al Shaqab Champions (130cm) CSI1 class title in the penultimate round of the Al Shaqab National Showjumping League, which concluded Saturday at the Longines Indoor Arena at Al Shaqab.

Riding D Saucedo, Hussain stole the spotlight with a flawless and fast round, clocking 48.73 seconds to top the leaderboard. His commanding ride earned him the lion’s share of the QR70,000 prize pool, taking home QR17,500.

Bader Alfard secured second place with a clear round on Pepper Van ‘T Winnenhof in 50.79 seconds, while Mohammed Saeed Haidan finished third aboard Viahipi d’Auzay in 51.03 seconds.

The competition, showcasing Qatar’s top equestrian talent, set the stage for a thrilling conclusion to the national league.
