Qatari riders excel at European Show Jumping events
BUDAPEST: Qatari rider Saeed Hamad Jumaa clinched first place in the bronze round of the CSI1 (One Star) category at the 2025 Budapest International Show Jumping Championship. Riding Diesel GB Du Bois Madame, Jumaa triumphed in the 130 cm event, underlining Qatar’s growing strength in international equestrian sport.
This win continues a successful run for Qatari riders on the European circuit following the conclusion of the 2024-2025 domestic season. At the 2025 Herford-Luzer Championship in Germany, Fahad bin Jassim Al-Thani secured third place in the 130 cm intermediate round (time trial).
In another impressive performance, rider Bassem Mohamed took first place in the 140 cm intermediate round (time trial) in the CSIO3-W category, also at the Budapest International Championship.(QNA)
