Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab Round 9 begins at Al Shaqab
DOHA: The ninth round of the Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab opened Thursday at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab.
Layan Sultan Al Thani claimed victory in the amateur class (100 cm), finishing in an impressive 16.35 seconds aboard Dino. Maryam Abdulkarim secured second place with Beyonce in 17.43 seconds, while Adel Khalil Abdulrazzaq came third on Fonyx.
Trophies were awarded by Saeed Hamad Al Rashdi, Deputy Director of the Longines Hathab series.
Silver Class Results (130 cm)
In the silver class (130 cm), Khalid Al Hadi clinched the title, posting a winning time of 28.84 seconds on Karlton. Mohammed Abdullah Jumaa finished close behind on Viahipi with 28.89 seconds, and Hussein Saeed Haidan took third on Sausido in 29.89 seconds.
Awards were presented by Ali bin Youssef Al Rumaihi, board member of the Qatar Equestrian Federation.
Upcoming Events
The competition resumes Friday with the Future Riders class (ages 6–12) at 70 cm, followed by the Open Class at 110 cm. The day will conclude with the highly anticipated 140 cm Golden Class for both individuals and teams.
