Doha set to host ninth season of Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab

DOHA: Doha will host the launch of the ninth season of the Qatar Equestrian Tour – Longines Hathab 2025–2026 on Thursday, marking the beginning of a 14-round series that will run at the Qatar Equestrian Federation arena and the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab, a member of Qatar Foundation.
Co-organized by the Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation and Al Shaqab, the new season introduces a refreshed format with tour rounds classified as Diamond, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Both individual and team competitions will feature in the Gold and Bronze categories.
The opening round, running over three days, promises action across multiple age groups and levels. Thursday’s events begin at 5:00 PM with the Amateur (Aspiring Riders) category at 100 cm, followed by the Bronze individual and team competitions at 120 cm. Friday continues with Future Riders (ages 6–12), the Open class, and the Gold round at 140 cm.
Saturday’s schedule will feature dressage tests alongside the Future Riders (ages 12–16), before building to the Silver round at 130 cm and the highlight Diamond round at 150 cm.
With Qatar’s best riders set to compete, the Longines Hathab tour continues to strengthen its role as a cornerstone of equestrian sport development in the country.
