Umm Salal sign Anderson

UMM Salal signed Brazilian defender Anderson Martins from El Jaish on a one-year loan deal.

Anderson, who has previously enjoyed a loan stint at Al Gharafa, will be joined by compatriot Alan Henrique on a free transfer.

Former Al Gharafa coach Pericles Chamusca had signed the 28-year-old from Brazilian club Vasco when he was in charge of Jaish in their debut season in 2011-12.

Anderson played for Corinthians on loan in the first half of 2014-15 and returned early last year to Jaish, where he partnered countryman Lucas Mendes. However, Jaish coach Sabri Lamouchi preferred to retain the latter. DSP
