Strong Qatar squad for Asian Airgun event

QATAR are fielding a strong 12-member squad at the Ninth Asian Airgun Championships which began in Tehran last week.

Mohammad Al Sunaidi, Mohammed Al Marri, Misfer Al Marri, Shahad Darwish, Ahmed Al Ali and Mohammed Al Mubarak are representing Qatar in the men’s section. 

The women’s team comprises Dana Al Mubarak, Aisha Al Suwaidi, Noora Al Mohannadi, Fatima Al Saadi, Marian Amber and Aisha Al Mohannadi.

As many as 250 shooters from 10 countries — Qatar, Bangladesh, Iran, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Thailand and Chinese Taipei — are competing in the Asian Shooting Confederation-sanctioned championships which will conclude on Friday.
