QSL, FQSA sign partnership deal

THE Qatar Stars League (QSL) formally announced an agreement with the Foundation of Qatar Sport Arbitration (FQSA) ahead of the new season. The deal was signed on the sidelines of the new season’s launch last week.

FQSA Chairman Ibrahim Khalil Al Mohannadi and his deputy Salman Al Ansari outlined the aims of the newly-formed organisation.

“Our primary goal is to resolve disputes between players and clubs,” said Al Mohannadi.

“FQSA will be able to rule on any football-specific issue arising in Qatar. This organisation has strong links with both QSL and Qatar Football Association, and the decision made by it relating to a specific case will be final,” confirmed Al Ansari. DSP
