The Qatar Football Association (QFA) officials last week visited four independent schools at the start of the new academic year as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
The governing body’s delegation made stops at Soumaya Independent Primary School for Girls, Al Muntaza Model Independent School for Boys, Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Model Independent School for Boys and Abdullah bin Turky Al Subaey Model Independent School for Boys.
The QFA distributed more than 1,000 backpacks and school supplies to students, who posed for photographs with the delegation.
The event was aimed at teaching students about the importance of football and the positive values it brings to one’s personality at a young age. It was organised in tune with the QFA’s 2021 vision, aimed at strengthening the game’s role in engaging all segments of society.
